How Frontline Builders Supports Disaster Recovery — From Emergency Response to Long-Term Resilience

At Frontline Builders, our mission is to support those who serve and protect our communities — from nurses and teachers to firefighters and police officers — while delivering rapid and reliable humanitarian relief during times of crisis.

A Strategic Approach to Disaster Relief

As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit, we specialize in mobilizing consumer product goods (CPG) donations from corporate partners and donors to help communities respond to and recover from natural disasters. Through every phase of recovery, we coordinate closely with local organizations and agencies to make sure essential resources get where they’re needed most.

Our disaster response framework aligns closely with the Kerr Together Disaster Task Force, which breaks recovery into three key phases.

Phase 1

In Phase 1: Search, Rescue, Recovery, Frontline Builders activates immediately after a disaster strikes. Through our disaster relief partners, we connect with impacted communities and coordinate with our donors to donate shelf-stable food, beverages, and essential items directly to the ground. From the moment a storm passes or a wildfire is contained, our network jumps into action — delivering urgent aid to frontline workers and families facing uncertainty.

We work closely with those on the ground to distribute in-kind donations — including hygiene products, bottled water, snacks, cleaning supplies, and other essentials — during this critical window. Our access to top CPG brands allows us to respond quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively.

Phase 2

In Phase 2: Clean Up, Rebuild, Reopen, Frontline Builders reaffirms its commitment to disaster-affected communities by actively engaging on the ground when possible, both in impacted areas and in surrounding neighborhoods. In collaboration with our sister organization, Builders—which empowers citizens to address society’s most pressing challenges—we amplify the voices of first responders and those directly affected, sharing their stories to raise awareness and foster continued support.

Phase 3

As communities move into Phase 3: Reinforce & Resilience, our role evolves toward helping rebuild for the future. We support families rebuilding their lives and frontline workers or volunteers with donations and "Welcome Home" packages. It's not just about restoring what was lost — it’s about creating stronger, smarter systems that can withstand the next crisis.

Why Corporate Partners Choose Frontline Builders

For businesses looking to make a difference, partnering with Frontline Builders offers meaningful social impact and measurable ROI. Donating inventory not only qualifies as a tax-deductible act under Section 170(e)(3) of the IRS code, but it also avoids the risks of products being resold in secondary markets. Your support doesn’t just help people — it enhances your brand’s reputation, supports democracy, and builds employee and customer loyalty through purpose-driven action.

Whether you’re a company ready to donate resources or a brand seeking to do more in times of crisis, Frontline Builders is here to help you turn your goods into good. With every box of supplies delivered and every hand we reach, we're building not just relief — but resilience. Let’s work together to support communities, stand by our frontline workers, and prepare for whatever tomorrow may bring.
