What is Frontline Builders?

Frontline workers, including nurses, firefighters, and EMTs, put their own well-being on hold to help others. They work long hours with little reprieve and often don't have time to eat, drink, or take care of themselves.

Frontline Builders aims to meet the needs of frontline workers and those impacted by disaster by providing food, beverage, and personal care product donations from CPG companies.

We do this by matching corporate donors who want to give back, with qualified frontline organizations.

OUR ORIGIN Story:

Created by KIND Snacks founder, Daniel Lubetzky, Frontline Builders was launched in April 2020 to support COVID-19 frontline workers.

Frontline workers remain our primary donation recipients, but we also support those impacted by humanitarian crises and natural disasters, including wildfires and hurricanes. Like the everyday work of frontline communities, these events demand unprecedented levels of dedication and sacrifice from those on the ground - and Frontline Builders strives to recognize those contributions. To date, more than 100 CPG companies have donated over 21 million products through our platform.

“When COVID-19 hit, KIND wanted to donate snacks to frontline workers, but we encountered logistical challenges when trying to equitably reach groups outside of our network at scale. When we realized that others were facing similar barriers, we built Frontline Builders to make it as easy as possible for companies to support those who give so much but receive so little.”

One sign reads 'We are grateful to the community for your support'; the other says 'Thank you!!' in colorful letters. A decorated vehicle with hearts and the phrase 'I ❤️ HINT' is parked nearby.

“It's critical that we support first responders and help keep them healthy and hydrated. Hint has donated water to hundreds of organizations across the country, and Frontline Builders has made coordination with a number of those groups much easier.”
