Supporting Classrooms with Kids In Need Foundation

One of our most impactful partnerships has been with the Kids in Need Foundation (KINF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that ensures students and teachers across the country have the supplies they need to succeed. Their work is an inspiring example of how donated resources of consumer product goods (CPG) can create meaningful social impact in our schools and communities.

Why School Supplies Matter

KINF understands that school supplies are more than just pencils and paper — they represent belonging, ownership, and opportunity. For students, having their own supplies builds confidence and opens up choices for their future. For teachers, many of whom spend an average of $860 of their own money each year on classroom materials, these donations level the playing field. By distributing in-kind donations through their 40 nationwide resource centers, Frontline Builders and the KINF ensures that learning starts on an equal footing and provides resources to show our appreciation to the educators that work tirelessly for their students.

Past Campaigns: Making a Nationwide Impact Together

Over the years, Frontline Builders has had the privilege of joining forces with KINF on several transformative initiatives. In August 2022, we supported Heroes for Healthy Schools, a back-to-school campaign in partnership with Lysol and Empatico. Together, we helped deliver 665 million Lysol wipes to schools across the U.S., helping teachers maintain clean, healthy classrooms amid ongoing health concerns. In June 2023, our organizations teamed up again for a Back-to-School campaign focused on distributing essential school resources to underserved educators and their students.

Our campaign in July 2024 builds on this momentum. As nearly 70,000 teachers prepared to visit Kids in Need Foundation resource centers, we worked with our incredible donor network to stock these centers with snacks, drinks, and other much-needed supplies. These in-kind donations demonstrate how corporate social responsibility can drive humanitarian response and uplift public education — a cornerstone of democracy.
